Abstract
A methodology to incorporate variable geographic factors into the analysis of pipe deterioration is presented. The method, referred to as AI, achieves a spatial disaggregation that allows inclusion of the synergistic effects of variable environmental factors in an analysis without requiring explicit data on each and every possible influence. The AI value indicates the degree of aggressivity arising from the combination of all possible influences within a small area.
