Abstract

Integrating Technology: Promoting the use of digital tools that can assist in providing deeper insights into an individual’s triggers and barriers to progress and how these can be best managed, as well as facilitating more collaborative supervision sessions.

This toolkit is designed to help support desistance-informed practice by highlighting the role of technology in enhancing cognitive growth and offers strategic recommendations for policy and practice to overcome systemic barriers for both practitioners and the individual desister.

This poster was based on evidenced-based research study as part of a fellowship, facilitated by the Capabilities in Academic Policy Engagement project (CAPE), and their partnership with the Ministry of Justice Evidence and Partnerships Hub alongside HM Inspectorate of Probation.
