Abstract

We demonstrate a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser, with an integrated all-dielectric metasurface, generating vortex-like coherent state in the Laguerre-Gauss basis. This coherent photonic device was theoretically calculated and experimentally characterized to achieve both high transmission efficiency and high OAM purity.
