Abstract

Working with Kingfield/Panoblok (as part of the KTP with them), we have developed a range of house types to deploy to areas of the world that have experienced natural disasters or infra-structure destruction through war. The company has been placed on Rebuild Ukraine's tender list and is in discussion with the Moroccan government. The designs look to be constructed by semi-skilled labour (due to shortage of expertise through death or injury). We have designed a range of bespoke components to help with assembly and componentised the houses into 'kits' that can be transported on palettes and readily assembled.
