Abstract

Users of private mobile radio trunking systems often communicate in groups, queueing for a free channel if all channels are engaged. A finite-source queueing model is more appropriate than the infinite-source Erlang-C model. Performance equations, including the probability of delay exceeding a certain period, are derived.
