Abstract

The Forensic Science Regulator has issued a code of practice, dated March 2023 and coming into force at 00:01 on 2 October 2023, pursuant to section 2 of the Forensic Science Regulator Act 2021 (CLW/21/17/12). The code is extensive and sets quality standard requirements for forensic science activities related to the investigation of crime and the criminal justice system.
