Abstract
This case note analyses the Court of Appeal's judgment in R v Kuddus [2019] EWCA Crim 837, on the potential liability of restaurateurs for gross negligence manslaughter after serving a customer with a meal containing an ingredient to which the customer was allergic, with fatal consequences.
