Abstract
Testicular cancer is an uncommon malignancy but remains the most common solid tumour in younger men. Although cure rates are high, timely recognition and referral are essential to optimise outcomes and reduce treatment burden. Nurses play an important role throughout the patient pathway, from early symptom recognition and diagnostic support to treatment management, fertility counselling, psychosocial care, and survivorship planning. This review outlines current evidence relating to risk factors, presentation, diagnosis, treatment pathways, and nursing priorities. It highlights the importance of person-centred communication, holistic assessment, and long-term follow-up for individuals affected by testicular cancer.
