Abstract
Discusses Perry v Raleys Solicitors (SC) on whether solicitors' failure to advise a claimant under an employer's compensation scheme of the availability of a "Services Award" resulted in a lost opportunity for a claim within the relevant time period. Considers whether the claimant would have made an honest claim and whether the judge had held an impermissible "trial within a trial".
