Abstract
This book chapter is a case study written by Dr Lynn McInnes, which showcases scientific research and business enterprise in Newcastle. The book 'Scientia08' in which it appears, is a compilation of case studies written by attendees at the NSC’s Scientia08 conference which took place in Newcastle on 13 November 2008.
