Abstract

(Inside back cover)

In article number 2202285, Ji Liu and co-workers report sealing gastric perforations with a hydrogel bioadhesive, which integrates an acid-tolerant hydrogel substrate and an adhesive polymer brush layer. The hydrogel bioadhesive enables instant, atraumatic, fluid-tight, and sutureless sealing of gastric perforations, as well as a robust biointerface in direct contact with gastric fluids.
