Abstract

Considers the implications for landlords of London Trocadero (2015) LLP v Picturehouse Cinemas Ltd (Ch D), which held commissions paid to a landlord for insuring the premises were not recoverable from the commercial tenant as insurance rent, and notes the Government consultation on leasehold reform.
