Abstract
This chapter first introduces the key issues in sustainable urban and rural integration, which need for better integral developments in both urban and rural areas. Second, it discusses the key challenges in sustainable urban and rural integration, and then moves to the strategic solutions supported by AI, data, and smart technologies such as Industry 4.0 and 5.0. Finally, it highlights the book’s key features.
