    Abstract

This research investigates the impact of perceptions regarding the ease of use and usefulness of technology on the willingness of SMEs to adopt new logistics technologies. It combines the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with elements from the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) to analyse how both internal readiness and external pressures influence these perceptions. The results demonstrate an intricate relationship between technology readiness, external control, social effects, and output quality. This suggests that certain elements encourage technology adoption, while others, such as perceived discomfort and insecurity, may hinder it.
