    Abstract

    The FDTL Phase 4 project, Making Practice Based Learning Work, aims to make practitioners more effective at supporting & supervising students in the workplace across a range of healthcare disciplines. So far the project has: • Identified and documented good practice on preparing health care practitioners for their educational role. • Developed learning materials for practitioners. The most recent project activity involved: • Dissemination of online materials across health and social care communities. • Evaluation of online materials for enhancing role of practice educators. The session will include an overview of the project’s outcomes before focussing on a participatory exploration of: • Effective ways to further disseminate information about project’s online materials. • Strategies to embed developed learning materials into practice based learning contexts.
