    Abstract

    Chapter 2 introduces the materials used in TENGs and delivers an elaborate examination of various TENG materials. These encompass conventional polymers, 2D materials, natural materials, porous crystalline materials, ferroelectric materials, and textile materials. The chapter concludes by emphasizing the potential of twodimensional materials, showcasing their capability to function dually as electrodes and tribolayers.
