    Abstract

We aim to investigate the interaction and prioritisation of barriers to green deployment of lean six sigma (LSS) projects in the manufacturing setting. We conducted Imperative Structural Modelling (ISM) and cross-impact matrix multiplication applied to classification (MICMAC) techniques to model interaction and clustering of barriers. This was followed by fuzzy Analytical Hierarch Process (AHP) to model the prioritisation of barriers. We presented a unique complex and non-linear interaction and prioritisation model, which enlightens the view of manufacturing managers and practitioners to maintain LSS projects. This is the first interaction and prioritisation model for barriers to green deployment of LSS projects.
