Nonlinear control for small synchronous generator

    Abstract

    In this paper, we propose an observer-based position tracking control for a synchronous generator. The controller design is based on the sliding-mode and singular perturbation techniques. The observer design is based on a recent approach which does not require the solution of a differential equation to update its gain.
