Abstract

The literature suggests links between people’s understandings of nutrition and their actual dietary habits. Knowledge of good practice translates into low body mass index (BMI). The idea that drove the study is that the more people understand about the nutritional science behind the food they eat, then they acquire healthy dietary habits.
