Abstract

A high-speed 1 km optical data link is described that uses pulse width modulation (PWM)t o achieve a low bandwidth overhead. The link is suitable for low-distortion transmission of full specification video signals or any analogue signal with a bandwidth of up to 5.5 MHz.
