Abstract
Patchworked Care is a research project that explores opportunities for care improvements for supporting mothers in addiction / recovery who are involved in care proceedings. The project has three main aims:
(1) Explore interconnections of addiction/recovery and care proceedings through conversations with women with lived experience and relevant support staff.
(2) Explore how interactive textiles practice can provide alternative modes of engagement and conversation about addiction/recovery and care proceedings.
(3) Facilitate reflective moments about the textured experiences of women in addiction/recovery and its intersections with care proceedings with relevant support
staff, social workers, and researchers.
