Abstract

In this paper, we consider an indoor visible light communication (VLC) system and evaluate its performance in terms of the signal to noise ratio for both line of sight and diffuse paths and consider objects within the room. We show that by rearranging the transmitter layout (i.e., position) on the ceiling the link performance can be improved.
