Abstract
Performance Now and Then was Gallery North’s contribution to the Wunderbar Live Art and Performance Festival, held in Newcastle upon Tyne in November 2009. This commemorative book illustrates the work of fourteen female performance artists whose work was showcased in the Gallery, and includes five wide-ranging texts that examine the nature and history of performance art, and the goals and aspirations of Wunderbar.
