Abstract
The design for a narrow angle feed horn radiating low levels of cross polarisation in two widely separated frequency bands is presented. The horn uses corrugations to control the cross polarisation in the lower frequency band and a synthesised aperture distribution controlled by a TM 11 mode transducer in the input waveguide to reduce cross polarisation in the upper frequency band. Provisional theoretical radiation patterns and VSWR characteristics are included to indicate antenna performance.
