Abstract
This chapter aims to address the most recent developments in the fabrication of PVDF-based ferroelectric composites with enhanced ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and dielectric properties for a range of sensing and energy harvesting applications. The most promising routes toward significant improvements in the performance of such materials are discussed. The effects of the presence of various nonconductive and conductive filler components on the structure, properties, and device performance are reviewed.
