Abstract

For brushless doubly fed machines (BDFMs), a set of expressions suitable for implementing of maximum power factor and maximum torque per inverter ampere control were developed. One of the machine's main attributes was the ability of utility power factor control. Various trade-off's between performance and the inverter rating required to drive the machine were also focused.
