N2 - Gait, balance, and mobility assessments are common in healthcare settings, but the underlying theory, technical methods, and application to various patient groups are not yet fully understood by those involved in the process. For example, engineers often lack clinical insight and guidance that would ensure successful development and deployment of novel technology in healthcare. Simultaneously, clinicians often lack understanding of engineering theory and technologies that limits the deployment and confidence in using digital solutions for clinical problems. There is a requirement for a comprehensive guide for all audiences that will be accessible to all, which will allow translation from research theory to clinical practice.
