Abstract

This graphic summary provides an accessible, plain-English overview of Realist Economic Evaluation (REE), outlining its key stages, principles, and considerations. Developed through a co-design process with the REEM Public and Patient Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) group, it aims to make REE methodology more understandable and engaging for diverse audiences. The summary is intended for evaluators from all disciplines, funding panel members (including lay representatives), and commissioners who need to grasp the core concepts and processes of REE.
