title = "RedTag: Automatic content metadata capture for cameras",
abstract = "RedTag is an optical tagging system that provides time based identification of objects, people or devices via small low cost infrared transmitters and receivers. We have developed RedTag as a cheap and flexible method of augmenting existing video capture equipment with an additional temporal metadata output of content based information. In this note, we describe the technology behind RedTag and demonstrate the interaction opportunities that arise through access to temporal metadata.",
