Abstract

This Review was undertaken with respect to my role as Co-Advocate for Education and Research, a Special Interest Group in the RIBA North East regional council. The resulting Report is intended to highlight areas of research capability/ strength in the Departments of Architecture and Built Environment (ABE) at Northumbria University and Architecture, Planning and Landscape (APL) at the Newcastle University to facilitate collaboration, knowledge exchange, and consultancy between the universities and architectural practices in the region.
