Rotor angle control of a small synchronous generator

Abstract

This article proposes an observer-based position tracking control for a synchronous generator. The controller design is based on singular perturbation and sliding-mode techniques. The observer design is based on a recent approach that does not require the solution of a differential equation to update its gain.
