Highlights initiatives to help landlords incorporate clauses into their commercial leases which encourage sustainable practices, reduce environmental impact and promote energy efficiency. Mentions: the Better Buildings Partnership's Green Lease Toolkit; the Chancery Lane Project; and the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards. Notes issues which may arise on lease renewal where a landlord tries to incorporate green provisions.
