Abstract
This play consists of a dramatic interpretation of the Board meeting of a small-scale publicly-funded contemporary arts organisation in the UK. The meeting takes place in the offices of the organisation itself, which is housed in a former community centre in an ungentrified area in the east of the city.
The dramatis personae consist of the Senior (and in fact only) members of the organisation’s staff and most of the members of the Board. Some context of the UK state funding system is necessary in order for viewers to follow the action.
