    Abstract

    Chapter 5 offers an extensive overview of the latest progress in hybrid materials involving layered double hydroxides (LDHs), MXenes, and LDH/MXenes combined with conductive polymers within the supercapacitor domain. It encompasses composite fabrication, electrode materials, symmetric supercapacitors (SSCs), and asymmetric supercapacitors (ASCs) and delves into various facets of the subject matter. Despite the considerable research efforts directed towards MXenes and conductive polymers, certain obstacles remain, hindering their practical utilization.
