Abstract

This study is a comparative investigation into the bond and toughness Effects of Type 2 Strux 90/40 synthetic fibers and Maccaferri Wirand FF1 using bespoke steel fibers pull-out tests to identify fiber bond strength and then to Establish batching quantities by weight for manufacture of beams for testing to ASTM 1018 (1). The test programme provides an in-depth comparative examination of the effects of these fibres on the concrete beams.
