Abstract

Abstract: This paper covers a focused literature review concerning visualisation in
design education to support the teaching of theoretical business practices to fashion
design students. As part of a professional doctorate program this literature review
offers the idea that the lack of relevant and engaging teaching material to match
the learning styles of creative visual learners means that graduates launch start-up
businesses when they are unprepared and under-skilled.
