Abstract

This case study presents the results of the teaching innovation project Teaching Research methods Innovation through Co-production of Knowledge with Students (TRICKS). This project aimed to develop a more participative and engaging approach to the delivery of social science research methods teaching to undergraduate business students. This has been achieved by integrating the research theme of ‘student satisfaction’ into the teaching content on a research methods module and by introducing a range of learning activities including freehand drawings to generate some useful data related to the understanding of students’ lived experience at the university.
