Abstract
A compilation album compiled by Gavin Butt comprising material hitherto unreleased, unheard & rare by Leeds art school post-punk bands. Based on Butt's 2022 monograph No Machos or Pop Stars: When the Leeds Art Experiment Went Punk the album features diverse art school acts who experimented with art-punk, electro, pop, dada, fluxus and punk-funk. Contains extensive liner notes.
