The Conveyancers' Yearbook 2008

Research output: Book/ReportBook

The aim of this book is to provide the busy solicitor with an up-to-date and accessible ready reference guide to the most important changes in the law and practice of conveyancing and the broader field of landlord and tenant which have occurred during the twelve months preceding publication. The book describes recent cases of relevance, giving a summary of the facts of each case, the decision of the court and comments on the practical implications of this decision. Further sections cover statutes and statutory instruments, and provide a summary of changes which have occurred in the conveyancing field in the past year. A reference section gives details of relevant publications, articles and websites which will be of interest, as well as Land Registry forms and contact details for the Land Registry Offices. Important new sections dedicated to the Energy Performance of Buildings, HIPs and the Finance Act 2007 complete the 2008 edition.
