    Research output: Contribution to conferenceOther

    Abstract

The conference has attracted speakers from across Britain and America to highlight controversial reforms in the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 regarding loss of control and diminished responsibility. It is the first conference in the UK to focus on the new Act's provisions on partial defences to murder which replace provocation with loss of control and alter the provisions on diminished responsibility.
