Abstract
Begins with an outline of the major features of UK urban industrial change as they are currently perceived and critically reviews those techniques commonly used in industrial geography to disaggregate urban employment change into its component elements. The second section focuses on three main theoretical approaches applied to the explanation of urban industrial change and returns to outline current debates on methodology and policy.-J.P.Darch
