Abstract

'The Ferns' concerns a young couple who become lost in a sea of ferns only to discover it is a malignant force. The film drew inspiration from the location of Shaftoe Crags in Northumberland which is a place where lay lines are believed to exsist. Ian Cottage gave a talk on the film at the Borderlands conference held at Northumbria University. The film is currently being submitted into film festivals.
