Abstract

'Build a Yo-Yo Machine’ workshop held in The Making Rooms at the National Festival of Making 2023. The workshop was held as a drop-in activity and 1-hour sessions where attendees were invited to build a ‘Speed Dial’, a low-cost DIY communicator, as a way to explore DIY technology and making.
