Abstract
This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the intellectual evolution of the personalisation-immersion nexus within tourism geographies research over a 24-year period spanning 2001 to 2025. As digital transformation continues to reshape how tourists interact with physical and virtual spaces, understanding the convergence of data-driven personalisation and multisensory immersion technologies has become a critical priority for both scholars and industry practitioners. The research addresses a notable gap in the literature, namely the absence of a systematic synthesis that maps how these two transformative forces have been integrated into the core of tourism geography scholarship.
