Abstract

This report sheds light on the factors influencing suicidal ideation in the UK nursing
workforce and is based on a deep dive into RCN member-support data from February 2022 to February 2024. The findings have been crucial in understanding the challenges faced by nursing staff and identifying potential areas of system-wide intervention and support.
