Abstract

This is the first study of this type in the UK to seek to apply an 'Ecosystem Services Valuation' at a sub-regional and local scale and to assess how the approach and results can be used to input into planning and other decision making. Based on five pilots studies approaches for implementing and ecosystem services approach are presented.
