    Abstract

    Game of Thrones attracted unprecedented media attention, winning over 200 awards during its 8 year run, with its final season nominated for a record breaking 32 Emmys. The finale won the Emmy for outstanding Drama series and was watched by 19.3 million viewers. Our book takes Game of Thrones as its subject and is based on one of the most ambitious audience research projects ever undertaken with more than 10,000 completions, giving more than 3 million words of response and debate around the series.
