    Abstract

'Wee timorous beasties' draw inspiration from Burn's poem 'tae a mouse' but are in effect a tragi-comedy about evolution and extinction. Scottish artist Keith McIntyre's prints explore synergies across a number of disciplines. Photo-polymer gravures are generated through drawing, improvised performance, photography and printmaking practices. McIntyre is Director of Graduate Studio Northumbria at Northumbria University.
