Abstract

Aims and objectives
Aim: to understand the relationship between classics as a primary school PSHE intervention, self-efficacy and socioeconomic status

Objectives:
1. to design a classics intervention for use in Y4
2. to deploy the interventions in three schools of different characteristics and Pupil Premium eligibility
3. to measure the impact using mixed methods (Pupil Voice qualitative method and a quantitative self-efficacy measure)
4. to assess the value of introducing classics as part of the national curriculum
