Mara Ferreri

Research interests

I am an urban and cultural geographer working on issues of precarity, commons, housing and urban temporariness. Previous research was published in international journals such as Transactions of the IBG, cultural geographies and Geoforum. I am a founding editor of the open-access international Radical Housing Journal. Prior to joining Northumbria I held a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, and worked on the project Commoning Housing http://commoninghousing.net/projects/commoning-housing-in-barcelona-and-london/
